Joseph Simpson

Joseph Simpson shared illustrating duties with H.M. Brock on the first part of The Strand's release of The Red Circle. Simpson's entry in the list of Holmes illustrators is brief, but memorable. The picture below is an almost exact likeness to Arthur Wonter, who would play Sherlock Holmes on film two decades later.
